The exposure machine is the step that defines feature accuracy in PCB fabrication and photochemical etching. GE units use uniform UV or UV-LED light and a vacuum frame for tight film-to-resist contact, while CCD and LDI models add automatic optical alignment — so fine lines and double-sided registration come out crisp before developing and etching.
