The GE-LED1200 swaps the mercury lamp for a 365–420nm UV-LED parallel cold-light source. It turns on instantly with no warm-up, draws about a kilowatt, needs no cooling water, and the LED head lasts 20,000+ hours — cutting roughly 80% of the energy a conventional exposure unit burns. Parallel light keeps the beam straight through the film, so on a 1300×1600 mm vacuum bed the artwork transfers crisply for screen stencils, dry film and single-sided boards.
