Photochemical etching for EV battery shims, fuel-cell BPPs, sealing gaskets, sensor meshes and EMI shielding in passenger cars and commercial vehicles. 304/316L, Cu, Al, Ti — burr-free edges, ±0.02 mm, IATF-friendly documentation. Exported to Tier-1 automotive suppliers since 2003.
Automotive etching has three sweet spots: sealing surfaces (gaskets, BPP, battery can lids) where flatness and burr-free edges drive leak-tightness; current-carrier surfaces (bus bars, current collectors) where chemistry control drives resistance; EV hot zones (battery packs, inverters, motors) where burr-free is a battery-safety regulatory requirement. GE lines cover all three.
